The Lok Sin Tong Anti-Drug Generation Project

The school-based program, delegated by the Narcotics Division of Security Bureau, is a series of health education activities, including anti-drug talks and workshops, exhibitions and game booths. The program aims to increase primary school students’ awareness of drug resistance and their understanding of drugs, enabling them to refuse drug use and cope with peer pressure anywhere. At the same time, it allows primary school students to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle and encourages them to pursue a healthy lifestyle, thereby enhancing their drug resistance awareness and understanding of the consequences of drug use.

A.    For Primary 3 to 4 student

Module

Content

Module 1

(Interactive experiential workshop)

  • Through the drama and role-playing activities to understand the consequences of different choices when facing drug-related crimes.
  • To learn how to refuse drugs from strangers.
  • To understand the correct value when facing challenges.

Module 2

(Health talk/Exhibition/ Game Booth)

  • Through the interactive games to enhance their ability to distinguish the differences between medicine and drugs.
  • To raise awareness of the legal status, harmful effects and consequences of drug abuse and involvement in drug-related crime.
  • To clarify their misunderstanding and myth about the drugs.

 

B.    For Primary 5 to 6 student

(Interactive experiential workshop)

  • Through the drama and role-playing activities to address the latest drug trends.
  • To learn how to refuse drugs from friends.
  • To understand the correct value when facing challenges.

Module 2

(Health talk/Exhibition/ Game Booth)

  • Through the interactive games to understand the legal status, harmful effects and consequences of drug abuse and involvement in drug-related crime.
  • Providing the latest drug news to help participants understand the real-life impact of drug abuse and the involvement in drug-related crimes.
  • To promote awareness and healthy decision making.

 

Implementation Period:

20th November, 2023 to 19th November, 2025

 

Target:
All primary schools (P3-P6 students) in Hong Kong Island and the outlying islands, Kowloon and New Territories East.
