To celebrate the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China, The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon and the Kowloon City District Office co-organize the “10.1 Charity Run”. The funds raised from this event will be used to support medical, educational, elderly care, and social welfare services of Lok Sin Tong.
To raise funds for supporting our medical, educational, elderly care and social welfare services, Lok Sin Tong is joining hands with Fuk Sing Cantonese Opera Troupe this year in presenting the Lok Sin Tong Charity Cantonese Opera Night.
Lok Sin Tong is pleased to be the Appointed Beneficiary Charity Organization of “McDonald’s presents Music is Live DJ / MC”, organized by Commercial Radio 2, which will be held on Saturday, 19 August 2023. For every donation of $2,280, $880 or $680, donors will receive a complimentary ticket to MIL 2023. The funds raised will be used to support our medical, educational, elderly care and social welfare services.
Although the epidemic trend continued to be reduced and economic activities resume normal, unemployment and inflation rates is still high. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 3.4% for the period between November 2022 and January 2023, which means that there more than 10,000 people unemployed. And, “Composite Consumer Price Index” rose 2.4% in December year-on-year, which heavily affect the livelihood of the grassroots.
Lok Sin Tong Meal Voucher Campaign - “Mealtual” Love launched in April 2021 to support those who were suffering from COVID-19. Due to the uncertain economic situation and positive response from public, we extended to a permanent scheme.

The theme of this year’s Walk is continue using “Enjoy the Walk, Explore the City”, with exploring Hong Kong’s vintage elements. We encourage you to explore nostalgic Hong Kong and share the moment with the elders at home. Funds raised for people with dementia and their caregivers.
